K1 Panda Class

The K1 children are starting to tune into their last Unit of Inquiry of the year -  How We Express Ourselves . We're keen to focus on the exciting ways children inspire each other through their own creations and ideas. Their artistic explorations and expressions might be sparked by the work of real artists, or they might take entirely new and imaginative paths!   Dear Panda Families,  We hope you had a lovely holiday! The children are happy being back at school and have been telling us all about their adventures over the last couple of weeks! We have been catching up with one another, and it is wonderful to see the AM & PM classes reunite with such a strong sense of community as Pandas, and within Hillside.  As we start Term 3, we can't quite believe how fast time is flying, and we look forward to continuing to support the children with their learning journeys as we start our next Unit of Inquiry, 'How We Express Ourselves.' Our central focus for this Unit will be exploring how people can express and develop feelings and ideas through the arts.  We will be exploring the arts in many ways, such as through music, performing arts, storytelling, sculpture, painting and much more!  You may like to visit a few art galleries with your child over the course of this Term.  M+ often has some interesting exhibitions on ...
